Darkness...

Splashes of light dancing atop of the air as if it was painting on it.

Loud music pumping through the air, sending your brain into a frenzy as if dancing was now the only way to survive.

People dancing close to each other. The smell of sweat linger deeply in the air.

No..but it wasn't disgusting...

It wasn't the same smell as when Kuwabara gets his ass kick and sweats all over the place.

This scent of sweat was...different..but at the same time the same.

"Where in hell have I gotten myself in now...?" Hiei muttered, walking carefully around the people who were dancing, trying to advoid being squished.

As if that would ever happen..? He would have burn the damn human who bump into him into a crisp if that ever h-.....

An unknown force knocked into Hiei and sent the little fire demon to the ground. Hiei turned around, readying to turn the damnable human into ash.

"Oh sorry! Guess I got kinda out of control with my dancing. Need any help getting up?" a voice asked out of the darkness. Finally, once Hiei's eyes got used to the darkness, he saw a young girl dressing as the rest of the human dancing there, complete with being cover by enough glowsticks to cover atleast a small Chrismas tree.

"Why would I need help to GET UP?," Hiei spat, obviously pissed off now.

The girl laugh quietly, pulling on his arm anyway, ignoring Hiei's scowlings,"Come on, grumpy. Go dance with me."

"No! I don't want to!!" Hiei yelled, crossing his arm and stood still.

As if she was treating a child, the girl just stood there for a moment for Hiei's tantrum to subside and finally start to talk, "Finish having your little moment? Come on, go with me, I'm sure you won't have that bad of a time when you're actually doing something in a rave beside scowling."

"God damn it, woman....fine, if doing that will get you off my back," Hiei mumbled, letting himself be draged off to the dance floor with the girl.

On and on, the music keep pumping. Shades of people and shades of light melt together as if they were just one.

Now, being in the middle of it all, was even more different then when he was watching it from the outside.

The girl he was with was very skilled. Even more in the darkness, she seem to glow.

On and on with the beat.

On and on.

And on.

...and on...

Suddenly, Hiei felt himself dancing too. He didn't really know what the hell he was doing at the moment! But somehow, it felt wonderful. As if just by moving his arms and legs in tune with the music, all his problems was being cleared off.

Nothing anymore. Just a simple fragment of a tune so long have passed.
